CBS Sports Fantasy App Reviews

I dont like the fantasy app at all. I prefer to run the full site on my iPhone or iPad, but that doesnt seem possible anymore. I may be convincing my league mates to move to another site (ESPN, yahoo) next season. Cbssports just seems to be getting worse and worse and not listening to their users. Its just not good.

App does not compare to others. Functionality does not match what a user can do on the actual website. So sometimes you have to get off the app and log on a computer to do certain functions. Trades dont show up with all the info on the app such as draft picks for players in keeper league. Cant counter offer a trade in app, only allows reject or accept. I can go on and on! Cant believe we pay for this. Seriously considering change for football next year since we already paid baseball fee for 2016.

Two steps back CBS, not intuitive, and app shuts down more often than it functions

CBS Sports website can look a bit dated compared with the competition. So this fast, helpful app is a welcome surprise! I got a text from an owner that they had picked the wrong person. I was able to pause the draft and back out there pic in just a matter of seconds, using the commissioner tools. I will be referring to this app daily for the entire season.

They completely re-did this app. Way better for fantasy baseball now

Since the last update I cant see free agents and do adds and drops. I thought it might be locked, but I can do it in the browser. App is useless now.

We have 10 category head to head league in fantasy baseball. We cant see save/holds on the matchup scoreboard.

No notation under "my team" for when a pitcher is starting. No stats appear on the head-to-head scores page. Incredibly frustrating ux.

Ive been a user of cbs fantasy for over a decade and used the app for the last 3-4 years. It still has many of the same problems as last year and some new bugs that are making some content unreachable. They used to be the leaders in fantasy but something must have happened to their IT/developer budget. Its really too bad, my leagues have paid $150 a year for many years and this may be the last using this site/app. Both the website and app have many issues that should be caught easily if just spending a little time testing.

Last season I was able to clearly see the pitch starts when setting my lineup using the app. So far this season I see the scheduled game listed under the pitchers name but no indicator as to whether that pitcher has a start for that day. This makes it extremely difficult to set a lineup using just the app. I appreciate the overhaul and the app has come a long way from several years ago. I would be willing to give a higher rating if they would fix this one issue, which wasnt an issue last season.

You guys act like you dont charge $150 for a league. How do free sites have less errors. Customer service has had an attitude in the past too. Why doesnt the app show who is starting when setting up the lineup like last year. Half the players have no stats. Please fix it.

You used to be able to see what your player did on any given day or period. Now it just scores points. Does not show hitting results, ks, pitching results, anything. So terrible. This app has somehow gotten worse when they should be focused on improving the user experience. We will likely switch sites next year. Have had enough with CBS

How can an app not indicate that a pitcher is starting that day??????? Makes zero sense, please change or many of us that pay you $150 will just move to ESPN or yahoo

Where to start? The "lightning fast" scoring is broken!! The scoring I see in the app doesnt match the CBSfantasy website Roster controls are useless. Did it not occur to anyone at CBS that it might be useful to be able to see if a pitcher is scheduled to start ? Dont bother with the app. For 3 years running now, the app has sucked but whats worse is that the website isnt very mobile friendly. Its bad enough if this were free, but we pay CBS a few hundred dollars a season to host our leagues. Get it together CBS or well pay someone else to host our leagues!!!

Once again. Second year in a row, after I emailed CBS last year...the app shows different running stats in each category in my roto league compared to the desktop. Even runs scored are not the same. So you can SORT of keep track on the app. But its not accurate. And you have to go to desktop version to really a we where you stand. Bush league. And annoying.

App is ok, easy to use, cannot believe you cant send a player to the DL in baseball from the app. I have to get my laptop out or go to the site through chrome and request desktop site every time I want to put a player on the DL its very frustrating and quite cumbersome. Its been like this since at least March 2015 I find it hard to believe no one else has complained about this

Everything about CBS fantasy baseball has gotten worse and worse every year. Its actually a astonishing. The app is just another piece of that. How in the world are pictures starts not indicated? They were before! Now the schedule is off. I am regularly seeing guys showing no game and have erroneously benched players as a result. These arent small problems. They are essential to a functional fantasy app!

I am not huge fan but the app has some good functionality like live scoring and roster changes

So being able to tell Who is pitching or actual live stats arent bug fixes weve been complaining about about 3 weeks. Remind us again why we pay $150. If this doesnt change, ESPN for free next year.
